What is Winter Training?

Winter Training is a short time during the winter months when we go inside and work on the basics of the sports of Baseball and Softball.
Winter Training is the perfect opportunity for players of all skill levels to work on skills they want to be more comfortable with, for players that want to shake off the cobwebs and prepare for the upcoming Spring 2024 season, or for those players who have never played before and want a slightly less intimidating setting to be introduced to baseball or softball.

When is registration?

Winter Training registration is now open for the 2023-2024 winter session and will remain open until the end of November, or until all available spots have been filled.

How long does Winter Training last?

Winter Training begins the first weekend of December 2023 and will run through the last weekend of January 2024. We will take the 2 week holiday break off.

What will the players be wearing for uniforms?

There is no uniform requirement for Winter Training, however all players will need to wear athletic clothing they can move easily in and sneakers. Cleats are not to be worn during winter training sessions as they are held indoors and cleats can pose a safety risk in this environment.

Our indoor training facility can be quite cold during the winter months, it is recommended that players dress in layers that they can take off and put on as they warm up and cool down throughout the their training session.

Everett Little League will be providing each participate a Winter Training t-shirt with their registration; to be handed out at their first session.
